Melanated Mondays

Melanated Mondays

Every 3rd Monday at The Commons.

What is Melanated Mondays?
A Black-ass good time.
Okay, but seriously this time: Each month, Black Revolutionary Theatre Wokshop’s producers curate a selection of new works by the hottest up-and-coming Black writers around a new theme. On the 3rd Monday of each month, BRTW’s ensemble brings these pieces to life and facilitates a conversation with the audience about the underlying societal issues highlighted in the pieces and potential solutions to those challenges.

January’s theme is AFROFUTURISM, and our writers and performers are looking for the Black experience of the future and the future we’re creating for Black experiences. With moments of humor, hijinks, love, horror, and more, you don’t want to miss out. And best of all, it’s FREE. But if you want to drop us some coin (suggested donation $15), we won’t stop you.

So don’t miss out! RSVP below!
